The Netherlands — Rotterdam, The Hague, Amsterdam & Texel with your class

Rotterdam offers a natural history museum and a city scavenger hunt through one of Europe's most architecturally inventive cities. The Hague brings students face to face with the history of international justice at the Peace Palace. Amsterdam delivers an extraordinary rotation of creative and cultural experiences — contemporary art at MOCO, an interactive film workshop at Eye Filmmuseum, Delft blue painting, stroopwafel-making, and an evening canal boat cruise. Texel rounds off the trip with a visit to the Ecomare seal sanctuary, a maritime heritage museum, and time on a wide, wild North Sea beach.

All activities run on a rotation system so that every student experiences the complete programme. On the Move is the officially accredited school trips provider for the European Schools in Belgium — every trip has a dedicated project manager with 24/7 emergency support.

A day by day

Day 1
Rotterdam & The Hague — Students split into groups heading to Rotterdam or The Hague. Rotterdam groups visit the Natural History Museum and Zaanse Schans windmill. The Hague groups tackle a city-wide scavenger hunt through the Dutch political capital. All groups converge at the hotel for dinner.

Day 2
Amsterdam: Art, Culture & Canal Cruise — All groups head to Amsterdam on a rotating programme covering the MOCO Museum, Eye Filmmuseum workshops, Delft blue tile painting, and stroopwafel-making. Evening: canal boat cruise through Amsterdam's historic waterways with pizza on board.

Day 3
Amsterdam (continued rotation) — The second Amsterdam day mirrors the first, with all remaining groups completing the full programme rotation. Evening dinner at the hotel.

Day 4
Texel Island — Early departure for the ferry crossing to Texel. On the island, groups rotate between Ecomare seal sanctuary, Museum Kaap Skil, and the beach at Paal 17. Return by ferry. After dinner, students gather for the end-of-trip disco party.

Day 5
Final Morning & Return — A final morning in Rotterdam or The Hague before departing for home.

Yes. We arrange guided, expert-led visits and hands-on workshops at science centres, museums and research sites wherever possible.

Münster (Zoo School, planetarium) is designed for P5 (ages 10–11). Our other discovery destinations suit secondary years with content adapted to the group's level.
