The Zoo School programme lets pupils get behind the scenes — guided by zoo educators, they study animal behaviour, feeding schedules and conservation, going far beyond what a standard zoo visit allows. The planetarium show covers the solar system and constellations in an immersive dome, and the Mühlenhof open-air museum recreates a 16th-century Westphalian village with living crafts and farm animals.
Münster itself — a UNESCO cycling city of gabled houses, cycling paths and a medieval market square — adds a genuine European cultural dimension. On the Move holds ABELIO safety certification and operates to L’Office quality standards.
