Berlin with your class

Pupils stand at the Brandenburg Gate, trace the line of the Wall and reflect at moving memorials, then explore the vibrant street-art scene and creative neighbourhoods that define the modern city — a destination that genuinely makes them think.

A short flight from Belgium and a famously affordable city, Berlin stretches a graduation budget further than most capitals. Excellent transport and a relaxed, open atmosphere make it easy to navigate for a large group.

Trip highlights

01 Berlin Wall & Checkpoint Charlie

The East Side Gallery — 1.3 km of surviving Wall covered in murals — and the reconstructed Checkpoint Charlie tell the story of a city divided. A guided walk makes the abstract concrete: this is where history happened, and students leave understanding that.

02 Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

Peter Eisenman's field of 2,711 stelae is one of the most powerful memorials ever built. Groups visit with a structured reflection exercise, making the Holocaust tangible rather than statistical — among the most affecting educational experiences in Europe.

03 Street art & creative quarters

Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain are home to some of the world's best street art and a creative scene unlike any other European capital. An afternoon in the alternative neighbourhoods shows students a very different Berlin — and a very different model of a city.

04 Evening in the city

Berlin is young, affordable and open. An evening in a lively neighbourhood — dinner at a group restaurant, a wander through a night market or the lights of Potsdamer Platz — gives the trip its celebratory note: a city that has remade itself, with your graduation class.
