Corsica is unlike anywhere else in Europe — a mountain island ringed by some of the Mediterranean's most pristine coastline. Students spend their days mountain biking along coastal trails, kayaking and paddleboarding in the Mediterranean, snorkelling in protected marine waters, visiting a working marine research station, and meeting traditional artisans in perched hilltop villages. The programme balances genuine outdoor adventure with rich scientific and cultural content, and the French-speaking environment adds a natural language dimension. Accommodation options include a campsite-style residential centre or a hotel base near Calvi, depending on the group's preferences and budget.

A day by day

Day 1

Arrival & First Evening — Fly in to the north of the island and transfer by coach to the accommodation in the Balagne region. Check in, settle in, and dinner together — the first of many communal meals.

Day 2

Mountain Biking & Artisan Villages — Morning mountain biking session on the coastal trails. Afternoon teacher-led visit to two perched hilltop villages, with small-group meetings with local artisans — potters, weavers, and craftspeople keeping traditional skills alive.

Day 3

Marine Science & Snorkelling — Morning boat trip to a protected peninsula for snorkelling in crystal-clear Mediterranean waters, followed by a guided visit to a marine research station. Afternoon return to the beach and accommodation.

Day 4

Botanical Discovery & Island Exploration — Coach to Île Rousse for a visit to the town and lighthouse, followed by the Saleccia botanical park trail — exploring Corsica's native flora — with an optional photo rally or quiz.

Day 5

Calvi: Multi-Activity Day (5-night version) — Groups rotate between coastal biking to the Revellata lighthouse, sea kayaking, and a walk through the Genoese citadel above the harbour. For 4-night programmes, this day replaces Day 4 and the botanical trail is incorporated into Day 2.

Day 6

Departure — Breakfast and check-out. Transfer to the airport for the return flight. (Day 5 for 4-night groups.)
