Green trip to Lichtaart & the Antwerp Kempen

Set among the woods, heath, and waterways of the Antwerp Kempen, Lichtaart is built for one thing: getting children outdoors and learning by doing. Based at a large outdoor activity centre surrounded by nature, the trip swaps the classroom for the forest floor and the riverbank.

Lichtaart & the Antwerp Kempen with your class

Science comes alive through a water-biotope study, where children wade in, dip nets, and investigate the tiny creatures that live in a pond or stream. "The taste of the forest" sends them foraging and exploring what the woodland provides, turning a walk in the trees into a lesson in observation. Adventure is woven all the way through: groups try kayaking, take on survival challenges, and build their own structures with wood and rope. Evenings around the campfire round off the days perfectly, and a visit to a historic windmill in nearby Geel adds a touch of local heritage.

On the Move holds ABELIO safety certification and operates to L'Office quality assurance standards — every trip is managed by a dedicated project manager with 24/7 emergency support.
